In the second quarter of 2024, France's most popular theme park applications on Android have shown varying trends in downloads and user activity. Sensor Tower provides a detailed look into how these apps have fared during this period.
Disneyland® Paris experienced a fluctuating trend in downloads, starting at roughly 6K in the first week and peaking at nearly 10K by the first week of May, before settling around 6K towards the end of June. Weekly active users peaked at 20K in late April and early May, with a slight decline to around 15K by the end of June.
Futuroscope saw its downloads surge to over 10K in early May, a significant jump from the 3K at the beginning of April. Active users reached their zenith at approximately 12K in the same period, indicating a strong interest during the early summer season, which then normalized to around 6K active users by late June.
Europa-Park & Rulantica also witnessed an impressive increase in downloads, with numbers more than doubling from 2K to over 8K in the first week of May, and active users following a similar trajectory, peaking at around 8K in the same period. By the end of June, downloads and active users slightly dipped but remained steady at approximately 3K and 3K respectively.
PortAventura World showed a notable jump in downloads in the first week of May, reaching over 4K from just under 1K at the start of April. Weekly active users mirrored this pattern, peaking at around 8K in May, before gradually declining to just under 5K by the quarter's end.
Universal Studios Japan, while having the least amount of downloads and active users among the top five, still maintained a consistent user base. Downloads hovered close to 300 throughout the quarter, and active users, starting at just over 1K, saw a slight increase to nearly 1.2K in early May before stabilizing to just under 1K by late June.
